A Light in the Darkness
Well, I managed to whoop this out in my ancient Photoshop 6 without my computer ‘sploding at me! I really can’t wait to get my paws on the new laptop so I can use Photoshop CS5!! Until then I’ll just toy with what I have I guess. 
I didn’t get as detailed with her as I would like, because every layer I add in Photoshop on this computer slows the program down more and more til it eventually crashes/won’t load the file anymore. Total pain the the rear. I got through this by flattening every few layers … though I really hate doing that. Anyway it was nice practice. I felt the title appropriate to current events in my life at the moment. No matter what sour apples life hands me, my art is always my there as my creative outlet. I will stand up for my art, my ethics, and what I believe in and I will let no one trample upon that. I think her intense stare and the movement of the piece pretty much captures exactly my feelings when I created this. She means bizness.
